After almost two decades in the beauty industry, I've learned a thing or two about products. But after stepping back and focusing more on my health, I began to struggle to find products that fit into my new lifestyle, products that weren't created in a lab and filled with chemicals. Once I discovered the magic of beef tallow I was hooked, and began whipping up new creations in my kitchen with a second-hand mixer. These creations quickly became more refined, and were shaped into the core products we offer today.

Grasa was founded on the idea that sometimes we don't need a dozen ingredients backed by the best scientists... sometimes we need to take a step back and use what worked for our ancestors (with a modern spin, of course). By incorporating grass-fed beef tallow into our products, we not only nourish your skin and hair, but we also utilize a biproduct of one of the country's largest industries, making it a sustainable choice.

WHY TALLOW?

Grasa uses US sourced grass-fed beef tallow in a majority of our formulations. Why? Tallow is a nutrient-rich, deeply moisturizing ingredient that’s incredibly beneficial for your skin. Packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with essential fatty acids like omega-3s and CLA, it nourishes and repairs the skin while supporting its natural barrier. Its composition closely mimics the skin's natural oils, allowing it to absorb easily without clogging pores. Tallow hydrates, soothes irritation, and promotes a healthy, radiant complexion—all while being a clean, sustainable, and toxin-free ingredient.

The Fine Print

Because we don’t use synthetic fillers or stabilizers, you may notice that our products can change slightly with heat. For example, they may soften or harden depending on the temperature—but don’t worry! This is completely natural and doesn’t affect their quality or performance. We try to be as mindful as possible when shipping to avoid issues with the product. WHIP and GLOW are the two products most affected by heat because they'll lose their wonderful whipped texture when melted and cooled. They'll still give your skin the love it needs, though.

We recommend storing all products at room temperature, away from moisture for the best results. Best if used by the date on the bottom of your jar.
